medical bay

Xavier rolled in leaving the doors open for Caim and Rachel, the room was filled with medical equipment some move to the main bed ready for Rachel to lay on.

"Caim lay her there and i would suggest you change"he said noticing the collar around his neck with a wave of his hand it popped open and fell to a tray.

Rachel woke with a start at being shook the first face she saw was Caim and she quickly sat up hugging him tight "C..Caim" she said her face pressed against his neck as a tear ran down her face and on to it soaking a spot on his collar

Caim held her tightly. "Damn it. Don't scare me like that," he said. If it was anyone else he was talking to, he'd probably sound annoyed, but he sounded relieved.

Rachel moved to look up at him "I can see" she said her voice sounding as much relieved and pleased he had been the first face she saw.

Caim sighed and smiled slightly. "I told you," he said softly.

Rachel smiled "but i still ache what am i doing over here?" she asked as she tried to stand she clung to him as she stood on wobbly feet

Caim stood up with her. He didn't really know how to explain what happened... "The Pheonix tried to take you over but you fought her," he said.

Rachel frowned then she looked confused "not her not again, not now" she said still holding on to him as she tried to move

Caim nodded once. "She tried but nothing came of it. She spoke once and then you overpowered her and you passed out." He motioned to the things that Rachel had made move and now covered the floor. "Makes sense?"

Rachel looked around the room she gave a deep sigh" not one bit but it looks like the kind of thing i could do" she stopped moving "I need to sit or my legs will give out" she said feeling her legs slowly give from under her

Caim led her back over to the bed/thing and sat her down. "How you feeling?" he asked.

Rachel gave a weak smile "like i have just been threw hell and lived" she said as she sat on the bed

Caim nodded. "I could see how that works," he said, smiling slightly. "But besides that."

Rachel looked up at him "shaky but fine ", she kept her hand on his quietening the voices so she could think "like i have taken back something"

Caim raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? What did you take?"

Rachel sighed her right hand moving to her head "I...I don't know i just feel it inside" she moved his hand to her chest "in here"

Caim nodded and slowly moved his hand back to hers. He still didn't really know what she meant, but he wasn't going to voice it. "Are you tired?"

Rachel had glanced at the floor and now looked back at him "hummm, ow i guess " she sat her mind drifting to somewhere else as she sat " i feel lie a part of me has become complete" she said softly

Caim nodded, smiling kindly. "You should get some rest," he said.

Rachel smiled as she saw his it was a dreamy smile she thought but she would never say "I guess" she said again sighing

"Then you should sleep," he said simply. "I've heard that sleep is the best medicine."

Rachel looked at him "medicine, I...I don't need medicine" she said in a daze she shivered where she sat her head drooping but she forced it back up to look at him

"Alright," Caim replied. "But you do need sleep."

Rachel shook her head but she only suck seeded in making her self dizzy , grabbing both his arms to steady herself Rachel looked up at him "N..no.. what i need is....." he stopped as if trying to think of what she wanted but she found her mind blank , with a child like innocence she looked back to Caim and with a drunken like smile she spoke "W...what do i need?" her eyes now fighting to stay open as with each breath her head drooped but once again she forced it up looking at him with her blue eyes, she feared if she fell asleep she wouldn't see his face or anyone's again

Caim smiled kindly. "You do need to sleep. You'll eventually fall asleep, but it wont be as plesent if your body forces you, rather then you submitting." He paused. "If you're afraid that you're going to become blind again, trust me when I say that that wont happen."

Rachel sighed leaning forward to rest her head against his chest she slowly she could feel the sleep take hold of her. soon with her breath now gentle and her hands loose on his arm as now totally exhausted she fell asleep leaning on him
