Start of the school year

Xavier sat in his office he chair facing the window he heard the chirping of the birds but concentrated on the file in front of him. His thought s were with the people who had arrived at the school how they had lives till his intervention , his won daughter had not had the best of lives till he found her and brought her to the school.

The sun felt warm on his face as he heard voices below his window looking down he saw wolverine directing.

Adaleen gently knocked on the door. "Daddy, are you there?"

"yes Adaleen I'm here. " Xavier said softly as he looked over the top of a light brown file

"I'm not interupting work am I?" She asked walking in.

"no your not "he said sliding the file away "a new Teachers arrived " he smiled at her as he moved out from the desk "no what brought you here , ah, the nightmares?"

Ada nodded her head. "Yes, I've been getting them more frequently now."

Xavier motioned to her to sit on the couch in front of him "These night mares are they still the same?" he asked softly to her.

Adaleen remembered all of her dreams, even the ones she gave to people. She shuddered "Yes, well mostly. They differ in locations and faces."

Charles looked at her "yes i can see" he said "they stem from you worries, find an interest and use it to channel your images if that doesn't work come back and I'll put a permanent block to stop them happening during the night" he smiled as he took her hand "but most of all don't worry about things"

"Okay, thanks daddy." Adaleen said smiling at her father.

Xavier smiled "any time Adaleen, I'm not just here for the students" he said "I'm here for you and your sister too" stopping he smiled " colossus has arrived, if you'll excuse me i have to meet him, why don't you come with me"

"Okay Daddy, I'll come." Adaleen said since she didn't have anything better tp do. She got up out of her seat and waited for her father to go first.

Xavier moved past Adaleen and into the corridor he moved to a section of wall pressing a spot it opened to revel a lift rolling inside he waited for Adaleen to stand in before pressing the down button.

Adaleen followed her father and got in so he could press the down button.

once the elevator went down and the doors opened to the main hall he rolled out into the hallway "Adaleen my dear could you find your sister for me please" he asked "I shouldn't be long with the new teacher." he smiled

Peter strolled down the hall towards Xavier's office. He turned and looked into the elevator as it opened up. "Ah Professor. Just the man I was looking for." He chuckled. HIs accent coming through as he talked

"ah colossus just the man i was looking for myself, how are you settling in" he asked rolling over to him a warm welcoming smile sat in his face..

Adaleen nodded. "Okay bye Dad." She said then noticed Peter. "Hello professor." She greeted then left to find her sister.

Peter smiled an waved to Adaleen as she left. "I am setting in good Professor." He said with a smile. "You needed to speak to me?" He asked.

Charles looked at him with a warm smile "don't worry its just some paper work we kneed to clear up " he said " come there in my office, wonder what's Rachels doing?" he said as he rolled back to the lift
