Oh God, What Have I Done!?

Caim stepped over a fallen tree but then promptly tripped over another. He groaned and pushed himself onto his back. This wasn't good. What had he done!? How could be have let himself get out of control like that?!

But what could he do now? What was done was done. He couldn't go back to the Academy, he couldn't. But what other choice was there-

There was only one. He pushed himself onto his elbows. He had to go to the Senator, the one who put up the registration posters, and ask them to lock him up. Then he couldn't hurt anyone...

Caim smirked. "Not all boys have a terrible memory." He helped her up and looked over to see how him animals were fairing. He let the rain, tornado, spikes, and earthquake go along with a couple animals. Dark Pheonix only had ten on her.

Rachel held tight to him her legs felt like jelly as she stood she looked at the dark phoenix who now seem to fade away but just as it did it rose flying straight to Rachel who was thrown back onto the ground unconsiose .

Caim caught her before she hit the ground. He closed his eyes and sighed and he laid her on the ground. The rest of the animals disappeared and he looked at the once again clear sky. "Natalie!" he called. "Get over here!"

Natalie lifted her head at the sound of Caim's voice. She had been so intent on finding whatever was in the cabin, that she had missed everything. (space case!!) She ran back to him. Once she was a little bit away she fazed back to human. She saw Rachel on the ground and a bunch of fight marks on the ground. She turned to growl at him. "What did you do? Don't give me a smart ass story, what did you do to her?"

Caim sighed, not in the mood for her attitude. "Nothing. I need your help. How did you get here? Is there a road nearby?" Of course Natalie would have to be the one to take Rachel home, no person would stop for a tatooed freak with an unconcious girl. They'd think he killed her or something. On top of that, he wasn't going back to the institute. However much he hated it, Natalie was going to have to take Rachel back. "I need you to bring Rachel back to the institute. Hichhike or whatever until someone picks you up."

Natalie nodded and pointed through the forest, the way she had come earlier. "There's a road up that way," she said. She narrowed her eyes and looked at Rachel and then at Caim. "Why is it so important that I take her back? Why can't you do it?"

Caim groaned. "I don't have time for this Natalie. Just listen to me. You have to be the one to take her back, alright?"

Rachel opened her eyes to hear the conversation "its because he's leaving" she said with a groan

Caim closed his eyes and sighed. Why, now of all times, did she have to find out. It would have been better if he had already not been there.

Natalie raised an eyebrow. "Is that true?" she asked. "Well well well...You're actually leaving? Hmm..." She smirked. "Sure, I'll take Rachel home. But let me ask you this, where are you going to be able to go dressed like that." She pointed out all the tatoos down his arms.

Caim stared at her. "None of your business."

Rachel slowly sat up looking at them both "he feels that this isn't his place that nobody needs him nor him them" she said as she tried to stand

Caim sighed. "Rachel, you should sit back down. You're only going to fall back over," he said quietly. "And why I'm leaving is my own business."

Rachel took no notice of him leaning heavily on him as she stood up. "so why make me go back , what business is it of yours , why help me , you could have walked away" she winced holding her side as it pained her to stand.

Caim ground his teeth together. "Just because I don't care doesn't mean that I don't care. And you're getting hep whether you like it or not, and I'm leaving whether anyone likes it or not." He sighed. "Natalie, please take Rachel home."

Natalie smiled and nodded. "Of course." She walked over to the other side of Rachel and held a hand out. Then she leaned towards Rachel, so that only Rachel could hear what she was going to say. "Have you thought of the fact that maybe he's only helping you because he has to? Because he's afraid that someone will do something to him if he doesn't?"

Rachel looked at Caim "Is that true?" she asked now angry "is it true your only helping me because some one told you to?" she pulled away from both "who , who told you" her breathing heavy as she fought back the tears.

I had been on my way to the school after having my bike fixed when i heard a noise pulling over i see three figures standing in a clearing one hurt, cashualy i walk over but they seem not to notice me, then i realise just who there are.
"Rachel, Caim, Natalie?" I said then storming over to them I ask "WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU ALL DOING HERE!!" my arms folded across my chest as i wait for an answer.

Caim looked from Wolverine to Rachel to Natalie and back again, his eyes landing on his Rachel. His eyes were wide with confusion. He backed up, his hands held in front of him. "Whoa. What are you talking about?" He looked to Natalie and saw the smile. His eyes narrowed and he growled. "What did you do!"

Rachel sensed his confusion it made her head hurt as she stood "he's only helping you because he has to? Because he's afraid that someone will do something to him if he doesn't?" she sent to his mind repeating what Natalie had said to her moments before "Is it true?" she asked again

Caim growled and took a step towards Natalie. "Why would you say that!" he exclaimed. He turned to look at Rachel. "I proimse you, I didn't. I helped you because-" He paused, it wasn't going to be easy saying why. "-because you're the only friend I have, because I'd feel terrible if anything happened to you if I could stop it." The anger in his eyes flattened a bit.

Rachel felt her anger fade her exhaustion return as she stood looking at him then to Natalie her head felt light as she turned "why?" she asked her but then she couldn't stand up taking a step back she felt as if she was in slow motion as she fell.

Caim caught her around the waist before she fell and helped her stand, although she was mostly leaning against him. "She doesn't like me," he mummbled. Then he looked at Natalie. "You couldn't have gone for an easier approch? Like killing me in my sleep or something? You had to hurt someone else, and you know what, nothing was done to me."

Rachel let her head rest on his shoulder as he held her up she heard him say Natalie hated him, with the last of her energy she spoke "I don't ... I ..." she said in a whisper her mouth close to his ear but she didn't finish as her eyes closed not having the energy to speak.

Caim felt Rachel's body go a little limper and he tightened his grip. He stared at Natalie.
