Painting Alone

Caim sat under one of the tables, his sketchbook propped up on his knees. He smirked at the familiarity of it all as he dragged his paintbrush across the page, only to smudge it with his thumb afterwords.

Gambit entered the classroom With his deck in his hand. He Was Shuffling it like a proffesional con artist did... probally because he was one. He lay his deck on a table and set them out to practice a trick

Caim watched as someone walked up to the table that he was sitting under. He smirked. Another familiarity.

Gambit couldnt move his feet properlly because something was blocking the way, He looked under the table and found Caim. " Ahhh.... err what was your Name again. Oh oui it is caim"

Caim raised an eyebrow and stared at him. How the hell did this guy know his name?

" What Are you doing under there?" He Asked him curiously.

"Painting," Caim said plainly. He stared at him, his face blank. "Is there a problem?"

" Wouldnt it be easier if you were above de Table?" He Asked in his French accent.

Caim shrugged. "Whatever. It's quieter under here. And people don't see you." "most of the time," he muttered under his breath.

" Whatever you like" He Said. His Set his cards out and then moved them all together Perfectly. He Then released them to the same position but the cards had changed.

Caim heard shuffling above him and he raised an eyebrow. What the heck was the guy doing. He shrugged and leaned against the wall behind him, staring at his paper. It was covered in random blured steaks of reds and blacks. His two favourite colours.

Gambit then placed his cards back all into a deck again. He Didnt shuffle them but released the cards into the same place and the cards from the first time appeared in their original positions

Caim looked up at the underside of the table, as though he could see through it. The guy was playing with cards in an art room? Well...to each their own, he thought. "What's with the cards?" he asked.

" I Am Just practicing the Art of Cards." He Said. He then placed the cards all in a deck again and pick up one at a time. They Were face up when he started and face up now. He Started from the bottom. Hey Had soon finished so he turned his cards face down then up. The card which was at the bottom was now at the top

The art of cards? Alright then... Was this guy some kind of poker adict or something??
